    David Seaman advice

Arsenal legend David Seaman insists his former team needs to prioritise the signing of a striker this summer.

    Seaman toldBetway:

I still feel Arsenal need to prioritise a striker, and any midfield signings would depend on if Thomas Partey stays or goes. If he stays, then I don’t think midfield is a priority.

I’d also possibly look for a back-up for [Bukayo] Saka and more depth at centre-half. None of it is urgent, though.

Arsenal don’t need a lot of new signings, just one or two in key positions.

    Arsenal transfer advice

Dwight Yorke advised Arsenal to "go all out" for Newcastle star Alexander Isak after missing out on RB Leipzig ace Benjamin Sesko.

Yorke told Best Payout Online Slots:

It's strange that Benjamin Sesko decided to stay at RB Leipzig and reject the likes of Arsenal. He's getting to the age where he should have made a move to the Premier League, early into his career so he can have some experience of British football under his belt.

Arsenal need to go all out for Alexander Isak now, they need someone like him because they came up short in the striker position. Arsenal will need to invest around £100million for Isak because that will be how much Newcastle will value him at, I can't imagine it being any less.

Kai Havertz was very useful to Arsenal last season, but they need someone like Isak instead of him at the striker position. Arsenal need a signing of that magnitude, like how Erling Haaland came to Man City and was scoring goals for fun, I think Isak can do the same.

Luckily for Arsenal, it works because Isak already has two years of Premier League experience and will adapt like it's nothing.

    Kieran Tierney advice

Scotland legend Gordon Strachan shared some important advice for Arsenal ace Kieran Trippier.

    Strachan told Genting Casino:

Kieran’s character can never be doubted. His character will get him through this again.

I've always said to players that have been out injured for long periods – six months or whatever, and Kieran’s had a couple of those.

Don't think about it as you’ve lost six months, just add it on to the end of your career. If you're thinking about packing in at 33, pack in at 33 and a half.

    Ex-Arsenal ace's dream

Arsenal hero Wojciech Szczesny has declared his aim to swap boots for blueprints by becoming an architect.

I have a couple of plans. All of them are more or less related to the development business. Some are pure real estate, others are related to architecture. I would like these businesses to correlate with each other.

I would like to study architecture. Ever since I was a young boy I had a very strange dream. When I lived on the tenth floor in Grochow, I could not see the centre of Warsaw.

On the other hand there was a small window in the staircase, from which you could see the panorama of Warsaw perfectly. Looking through this window, I thought I would design a building that would change the view of the city.

And this is still valid. I would love to design one, build it and sell it. Of course it will not happen right away, that I will end my career and in five years' time I will build 150 floors in Warsaw.

But that is my goal, to pursue it step by step. My projects, both personal and professional, have become bigger over time.

In this development and architectural dream I have so far tried to make larger and larger investments to prepare, hoping one day the dream will come to fruition. It may not happen, but the most important thing is to take small steps all the time.

    Benjamin Sesko Exclusive

RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko addressed the “pressure” that has come with all the Premier League interest from clubs like Arsenal during Euro 2024 where he plays for Slovenia.

To be honest, with the pressure, I put it on the bright side.

It’s a good kind of pressure. If you have the opportunity where people can talk about you, doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad, there’s something about you and it means I have done something good in the past and people are talking about it.

I always put it on the bright side and I am happy to be a part of this.

It’s definitely a good chance for me to play in this type of tournament. I’m really proud of myself to be a part of the team and be here and for the experience and the self-growth.

It’s really important for me and for my career in general. It’s been an amazing time and I’m looking forward to more of this.

    Kieran Tierney sidelined

Arsenal ace Kieran Tierney is officially OUT of Euro 2024 after his most recent injury with Scotland.

Tierney looked gutted as he was taken off on a stretcher in the second half of the 1-1 draw against Switzerland on Wednesday.

The full-back was rushing back to defend a Swiss counter-attack when his leg buckled and he hit the floor in a heap and immediately gripped onto his hamstring and signalled to the subs' bench.

The Scots' manager Steve Clarke confirmed the injury "was a bad one" after the game in midweek.

And now it's been revealed that the 27-year-old is being sent home to continue his recovery at his club and will miss the rest of the tournament.

    Benjamin Sesko's new contract

RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko has ended speculation about his future as he penned a new contract with his club.

Sesko was linked with several Premier League clubs, such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United - the Gunners were especially said to hold the upper hand.

The centre-forward had a release clause that would have made him available for £55million until June 30.

However, the Slovenia international has now penned an improved deal with Leipzig up until 2029.

The 21-year-old is now set to face England on Tuesday in the final Euro 2024 match of the group stage.

    Arsenal ‘very close’ to Gyokeres

Arsenal have received a transfer boost in their bid to land Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres this summer.

According to wild speculation created by Portuguese outlet Leonino, the Gunners are “very close” to signing Gyokeres.

The centre-forward will command a high fee as SunSport revealed Sporting willremain firm on their expensive valuation.

The 26-year-old, who amassed a whopping 43 goals and 15 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions last season, has a release clause worth about £85million.

The North Londoners would want to negotiate a lower fee in the region of £50m-£60m, but Sporting are unwilling to let the Sweden international go on the cheap.

McCabe addresses "inaccurate rumours and gossip" after nightclub sighting

Katie McCabe has taken to social media to address "inaccurate rumours and gossip" that have spread online after she was seen speaking to a woman by a DJ booth at a nightclub in Ibiza.

The Arsenal women's star uploaded a video to her Snapchat account addressing the sensational claims, in which she said:

Hey guys, I've had a mad busy day so I'm just kind of sitting down and...

I don't usually really do this type of stuff or respond to these types of things because it's literally people spreading rubbish on social media and I can't really control what people make up.

But, can I just ask to those of you who have taken hours and hours out of your life to try and cause an issue, like, have you ever tried to talk to a friend next to a DJ booth?

It's honestly been awful to see the rumours that have been spread. So, like, rather than spread the inaccurate rumours and gossip, why don't you think about how it would feel if you were sent those abusive messages for something that you didn't actually do.

It's not been nice, it's not nice to hear or read. But, I guess the social media platforms are probably dealing with these accounts now that shared.

So, I'm cool, but I just wanted to clear that up. You wouldn't be doing that in front of thousands of people on stage. So, yeah, let people have a rare night off with their mates.

To all the good ones, I see you and I appreciate the support and I'll see you guys soon.

Wilshere exclusive: Southgate should make brave Rice choice

Gareth Southgate should be brave and play Declan Rice as our sole holding midfielder.

But ifEnglandmanager Southgate doesn’t want to do that — and he probably doesn’t — then he needs to give Rice the chance to play more like he does for Arsenal.

Let’s be absolutely clear here. Rice was so important for us again during that first half against Denmark.

The fact that he had a difficult second 45 minutes showed how much England were struggling.

Ricehimself would hold his hands up and say he gave away the ball too often.

But what I took overall from his performance is that he needs more help in the engine room.
