• Will this work on a mildewed concrete patio or do you have to clean the mildew off first?

  Yes, this will work very well to remove mildew from a concrete patio!

• Living in Colorado, we have a lot of minerals in the water. The cemetery irrigates using sprinklers which when the water dries on the monuments there is a white deposit that builds up. Will D2 work on solving that problem. If not please suggest something.

  D/2 Biological Solution works to remove mold, mildew, moss, algae and air pollutants. Unfortunately, it will not work well to remove rust stains. We recommend trying Pre-Lim Surface Cleaner or Rust Remover

• would it be safe to use D2 on the interior/exterior of a nylon tent that's covered with mildew?

  Yes. We don't know of any official testing on nylon, however it should work and remove the mold. Make sure that you thoroughly rinse the tent after application.

• Is this safe on white quartz?

  Yes! D/2 is safe to use on all hard surfaces

• does this item come with a the 1 qt. spray bottle?

  No, the quart size with spray nozzle is sold separate. The D/2 Gallon is just the gallon sized container of solution.

• I have 15 S.F. of granite to clean at family cemetary - how much do I need?I see John at Brico in Glastonbury, CT from time to time.

  Average coverage is 300 square feet per gallon so 1 quart of D/2 should be more than enough!

• Is D2 safe to use on bronze?

  Yes, D/2 is safe to use on bronze but it will not clean oxidation.

• Is d-2 ok to use on shingle roofs?

  Yes, D/2 is safe on all built structures and works well in most situations where biological growth is the issue.

• If i use this product will damege the glass and a metal?

  No, D/2 Biological Solution will not damage anything that it's used on.

• Is cleaning with D/2 best followed by rinsing with water?

  There are two primary cleaning methods when using D/2.
  1. Spray D/2 on and walk away. It will take longer but eventually the rain will naturally rinse away the staining, it could take a few months.
  2. Spray D/2 on. Let it dwell on the surface for at least 15 minutes then scrub with soft bristle brushes and rinse with clean water. This method will give faster initial cleaning, but can still take up to a few months for the full effect.

• What is the shelf life of D/2 one gallon unopened. Also D/2 one gallon opened. Thank you.

  The shelf life on D/2 is 5 years, opened or unopened.

• Is it safe for plants and grass?

  Yes it issafe in environments with plants and animals.

• I will be cleaning a large granite monument which also has several bronze plaques mounted on the stone. Do I have to cover the bronze plaques when using the D2 on the stone areas?

  You do not need to cover the bronze plaques when cleaning with D/2

• How much D2 is needed to clean 25 average size headstones? How much would be needed to clean a 26 foot tall granite statue?

  1 Gallon of D/2 will clean about 10-15 average size headstones, so for 25 I would recommend 2-3 gallons of D/2.
  With 3 gallons you should have enough to clean the statue as well. Let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!

• Do we use the D/2 straight out of the gallon bottle or dilute it?

  For long term or stubborn staining of biological growth it will be most effective undiluted.
  However for less aggressive biological staining, or if you're re-cleaning stones that were recently cleaned you can dilute up to 50% water.

• Will D2 work on fiberglass boat without damaging it.

  Yes, D/2 works well on fiberglass as well as wood, nylon, vinyl, canvas, etc. D/2 is Ph neutral and will never harm a surface. As with any new product, just to be safe, we recommend spot testing in a small inconspicuous area before full application.

• I discovered that my great great grandmother's headstone had fallen over. The face of the headstone was facing down into the soil/ground. We were able to roll the stone over to see the front/face of the stone. The front is fairly muddy, but legible. We are going to have the stone reset and resealed. Should I wait to clean the face until this work is done? If so, should I spray the D2 on a fairly muddy surface, or first water off the dirt and then use the D2?

  Thanks for reaching out! You can clean the stone before or after the repair, whichever you prefer! In this case I would recommend rinsing down with water and getting any dirt or staining off that you can before using the D/2!

• Do you have to reapply the D/2 every so often or is it just a one-time application?

  After application, the D/2 will do it's best work in the weeks and months to come. Results should last at least a couple of years before another application is necessary!
