Salary based on experience and work schedule desired. We pay production bonuses and also offer profit sharing and retention bonuses to those veterinarians that choose to make a career with us. We pay health insurance, liability insurance, continuing education, professional licensing fees.

Dare to be different! The vast, vast majority of private veterinary practices in America are built on the same business model. Set up in the high end of town, cater to the elite, offer only the best - “You have to go to the money to make money.”
Levy Animal Clinic is different! We can pay you as much or more and offer the same benefits and flexibility of those practices but have a totally different business model. (For example, we offer $140,000 minimum for a new graduate for a 3 day workweek and 1 half day Sat a month) We serve the elite but we also serve the masses. Not with discount prices but with offering the option of less than perfect care for those that cannot afford perfect care. Those options do improve the quality and quantity of life for those patients and the clients do appreciate it. The man that mucks the stalls loves his daughter’s chihuahua every bit as much as the horse farm owner that loves his corgi. We’re there to serve both and, yes, we care! Yes, you will see more patients in a day here but it doesn’t take as long to treat the cruciate on a pet when the owner can’t afford radiographs, let alone surgery. With many of our clients, it’s the TPLO for Bowser or braces for the daughter’s teeth. Understandably, many choose the braces but we can make Bowser’s life more comfortable, even without a new knee. We can teach you practical medicine. Our doctors love to interact with one another and learn from each other. We follow up with a personal phone call from the doctor on every treated patient. By caring, we bond to the client and the patient. Our clients love us for it! That makes practice, that makes life, fulfilling. As I write, there is a chocolate cake, an apple pie and cookies in the kitchen of our office - gifts from clients. It really is a high to get that thank you note, those cookies or flowers. Often, the less prosperous are more appreciative - they’re not used to people caring.
Please understand, we do also serve the more affluent clients as well and strive to offer the highest level of care for the clients that can afford it. We are building a brand new, spacious facility that we hope to be in before May. We have digital radiography, ultrasound, in house chemistries, etc and are very close to and often refer to the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. We also have a local board certified radiologist, ophthalmologist and surgeon that we work closely with.
We are located in sunny Williston, Fl, a bedroom community to Gainesville and Ocala; only a couple of hours from Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando or the beaches. We are a certified happy workplace and enjoy working as a team to serve our clients and patients. As stated earlier, we are not a discount clinic. We charge prices similar to the cookie cutter practices and pay our vets and lay employees as well as or better than most of those practices. But we are unique - our clientele is diverse and we do serve people of all economic strata - we serve the masses and they love us for it. Check us out.

About Levy Animal Clinic
Levy Animal Clinic is a small animal clinic in Williston Fl. It was founded in 1985 as a mixed practice and is still owned and managed by its founder - Wade Bullock, DVM (UF 84). For doctors that choose to, we still see an occasional pot belly pig, goat, chicken, etc in the clinic. We are presently in the process of expanding our infrastructure by building a new, larger clinic at our present location and converting our older building into a doggie day care/boarding facility. We have a large and helpful staff and the normal array of diagnostic and treatment equipment, including sevoflurane anesthesia and digital radiography. We have a very diverse clientele and take pride in offering choices to our clients and tailoring our treatments based on the owner's needs and desires. We also are unique in that we personally follow up on each medical case. This is a great learning tool and helps us bond to our clients and patients. Williston is a bedroom community to Gainesville and Ocala, a friendly town that offers the advantages of living in the country with the very nearby conveniences of living in the city. We can get to Shands, Celebration Point or UF quicker than many people with ...Gainesville addresses! There is some agriculture in the surrounding area as well as numerous horse farms and some world famous sinkhole diving destinations. There are many retirees and many of the employed people work in Gainesville or Ocala. There is a mixture of historic families with many newcomers. This creates a situation where the clientele and area are a diverse mixture of socioeconomic classes, lifestyles, races and cultures and yet Williston has a happy, friendly culture where nearly everyone gets along with each other.
